| Week Eleven. We’re officially 2 full cycles’ worth of games – and 40% of the season – in.
Let’s compare this year’s 11th rounders for each club as we preview this week’s action.
On, as they say, to the games…
Stars (5-4-1 11 points +6 FOURTH PLACE)
vs
Oilers (6-3-1 13 points +12 FIRST PLACE)
Two rounds in, the season series between our early game combatants is tied 1-1, with each club having bested their opponent 5-1. The stars took the first game, but the Skinner’s flipped the script the second time these two storied franchises met. Total goals in the series? All square at 6 apiece.
The 11th rounders going head-to-head in this skate are the ever-productive Matty Flemming for the VeinBros (3 & 4 for 7 points (and 4 PIM) in 10 games) and the ever-under-rated-and-now-freshly-back-from-his-Nashville-adventures Longo (4 assists in 9 games) for Les Etoiles.
Oilers 5 – Stars 1
Lions (5-3-2 12 points -6 SECOND PLACE - TIE)
vs
Jets (5-5-0 10 points -5 FIFTH PLACE)
This week’s Stewtennial Sandwich Skate features clubs only two points apart in the standings but sitting in 2nd and 5th place respectively. The Lions took the first game of this series 5-1, but then dropped a 3-2 shootout decision to the Jets in the most recent match-up. That leaves the total goals in the series at 7-4 Lions
The 11th rounders going head-to-head in this skate are Chris Ashey (1 assist so far in 6 games) for the Flying Croke-a-Dukes and rugged defenceman Mike Oliver (3 assists in 9 games) for the Timmy HartCats.
Lions 7 – Jets 4
Flames (4-6-0 8 points -10 SIXTH PLACE)
vs
Wolfpack (5-3-2 12 points +4 SECOND PLACE - TIE)
As far as the west-coaster this week goes, the season series is all even at 1-1, with the Flames having taken the first game 2-1 and the Eddies then subsequently steadying themselves to the tune of a 6-3 win in the second instance. Total goals thus far sees the Pack ahead 7-5
The 11th rounders going head-to-head in this late skate are the uber-versatile F/D multi-tool Stoney for the Red-Hots (1 assist in 9 games while switching back and forth between lock-down D and energy forward as needed) and Pecarski for Les Vertes Incroyables (3 & 1 for 4 points – and 2 PIM – in 8 games).

| Weekly 3 stars……..
3.Bray , 1 goal.1 assist in the packs tight win last week. Our future MLA Hopeful had a whale of a game last week bringing the pack back from two goals down . This player is very versatile and leading the pack to their best start in years.
2. Macissac, 1 goal and three assists in the red hot stars win last week. , Perry is the leagues premier forechecker and it was on full display last week. Him and his linemates are maybe forming the leagues top line and the speed of this player is a huge reason.
1. Burgess, 3 goals 4 assists in the flames destruction of the oilers last week. Wow like the classic song says “oh what a night”. The leagues top two way forward friggin dominated last week, everything he touched turned to gold last week. If Dave keeps showing razzke dazzle like that the flames will be climbing the standings

- Tyson vs Paul , everyone wants Mike to knock this Disney clown out. I think Mike is being paid a ton to not kill this clown and it’ll likely go the distance. But watching them train I think Tyson may snap and knock this fool out . He still looks scary to me.
- went to a u15 c game waiting for my daughter at basketball practice
Kid from Sackville floats grabs an empty netter and silences the crowd of 22 with a stare down . It was fuckin awesome . Kid has a chance lol
- 45 + big win for Lee and the boys as turple scores with 12 seconds left to defat Croke , duke and orsor and crew
- those turkey dinner lays are tight, big fan
- Matthews still out with his hang nail. Trade him now they play better without him .
- Toronto media please stop Juan Soto isn’t signing with the blue jays . That’s for you parsons
- fuckin cold today. I felt my age as that wind hit my bones.
- grey cup argos vs blue bombers who you got?
Bombers defeat argos big with Kelly out with broken ankle
- hearing positive things about bray for MLA in Halifax chebucto
- burgess decimated the oilers last week, guy was on A heater.
- bottom 3 teams beat top 3 teams last week, nice to see

- Rip Cookie, he was a beauty
- is venoit still on the goalie spare list?

Week 11. Holy smokes.
Man it feels like it was just yesterday Real Deal fell asleep on our table before we drafted him. The days fly by.
5 points between 1st and 6th. Crazy.
London Knight player got a 5 game suspension for calling an opponent a Mennonite. What ever happened to players calling each other names like dick head or fuck face? We should all take a few seconds tonight during our games and bring some of those old names back.
Yellowstone is finally back to finish the final season. They didn't mess around either. They came back with a doozy. I hope someone else watches it or this post sucks.
If you're looking for another show, Lioness on Paramount or Amazon is deadly. Apologies if Awesomeness recommended that a ways back. He is a happy fun guy so I'm sure he won't mind.
Commanders blew it last night. Defence can only hold off Saquon so long. He does it every week. Except the week I need him to get a touchdown to win money. Bastard.
Watching the games last week while eating some spicy garlic doritos and drinking some Happy Dad's I noticed something. Majority of guys stuck around for the games. Best league around hands down. Well except for maybe this over 45 league I keep reading about.

Was a little different watching the Oilers last week. First time since I can remember I didn't hear Auston yell " dad get off the ice ". I miss that.

| Stars/oilers…….the leagues two most prolific offenses collide here but it turns into a defensive battle with the stars winning 3-2. Poirier gets pointers from his scoring machine daughter and buries 2 and redden with a beauty do the damage in the stars win.
Jets /lions…….. Desi with a pair real deal with a pair in the lions 4-2 win
Pack/Flames…….. burgess keeps the hot streak alive with 2 goals 2 assists in the flames 6-3 win
