I was looking at the stats on your web page and one thing that stood out to me was the assist, or lack of, last year Hentrup led the team in assist with an avg. of about 2.5/game. he is leading the team again with an avg. of about 2.5/game. at the beginning of the season joe said kids would have to accept there new roles this year, did he forget about the role of being the assist man on the team? everyone looks to score first then pass. or they are looking for there favorite player to pass to. pass to the open man, it's that simple. look back at our teams of the past we had the guard that could score, but was the floor leader, making everyone better around them.
Joe when he played was an exception, he could score, but was also ready to pass to the open man. how good would that team have been if he only passed to scott. not very. we wouldn't have won the hall of fame tourney without the support of gabe king and kelly tuell. well we did beat tell city way to go guys, i hope we will build on this win, and start playing basketball like we should have been all year. start plaing as a team. hentrup is a great scorer, but we many great scorers yhay need to be given the chance now, before the end of the season. you need all 5 players being a threat to make it in the tourney. I still fill that the so called tall lineup would work for this team, how in the world could of tell city of matched up with 6-7,6-5,6-4. and now when zeb is on, wiekert sits the bench, your best rebounder on the team, from your stats he is second on the team now, considering he hasn't played half the minutes he played last year.Hutslar could be another gscoring threat on this team, but it's hard to score from the pine.also i think warren should get some playtime in varsity action, he could get you some steals, and he's not afraid. well i'm rambling on got to go. good luck rams.

I agree but I think the big lineup can be affective in different ways I like Garrett at the Shooting Guard spot just cause it gives off to the other team that he could possibly go off on them....I think that in all honesty we should walk through our sectional this year the problem I forsee is some of our bad habits coming back to hurt us if we take care of the ball and play like we played against Tell City we should be pretty dominating a thing I lied about the Tell City gamne was at around the 2:00 mark of the 4th Quarter we had players view the whole court and fund Pedigo underneath wide open on a diagonal pass thought that was neat I get the hint and it's only my perception that Joe wants to play Garrett more I get that from what he said after the Corydon game.

Anyway Until Next Time
