| Now I do not know all the circumstances...but this league decided just to let the stan musial league on their own?? That's odd since the champion of the stan musial league defeats this league and that the top 4 teams of the stan musial league are stronger that the majors league! I think we might have a shift of power in North Jersey...majors please take off your premier wood bat league because that is not the truth no more! Stop hanging onto your glory years otherwise you'll end up old and washed up and write a book like Canseco! The fact that people our quoting this guy on this site makes this league a joke!

the circumstances are that the deal the musial made was that if we agreed to a best of 3 series at the end of the state tounaments that they would send 2 or 3 of their best teams up to the majors if we had teams drop out and needed good teams. Well not one team from their league would come up to the majors. Your opinion of the 2 leagues notwithstanding the reason for them not being in is that they dropped out because their top teams refused to enter out league as per the agreement. As for the musial(obviously your league) being better. Hackensack(my team) will play Nyack or your team this spring in a 3 game series or a one game setup, whichever fits, and kick the shit out of them. Check out our teams site, look at our accomplishments, and realize no one in musial will ever accomplish those things. You can't win every year so before you go with that why didn't you win last year crap realize that teams like cliffside, ramapo, and cresskill are better than all the musial teams so you have to bring your A game in the states... last year we fell short. Its like the AFC and NFC last year we had Indy,Pitt, NE, and SD. the NFC(musial) had the Eagles and thats it.
I guess the top 3 musial teams would rather play against shit all year to guarentee a playoff spot rather than play against better teams and sweat it out.. Call me and we can arrange the games 201-497-8491 Rick

Please do not make a post while you are high on crack, you just make yourself or this "hitman" alias, look like an asshole. You just embarrassed youself. I will back up Rick and Matty and welcome the luckluster challange of playing any of the so-called elite teams from the Stan Musial League. I will go so far as to that we could place any pitcher we have on our roster, and I will gurantee victory, yes call me Jim Fassel! The only reason Nyack advanced last year is cause Creskill had to outlast real teams from our league for over a week, and probably didn't have much left to put your pathetic team away. Give it up son, your league is nothing but a farm system when being compared to the Majors Met League. Danny set something up against these clowns please...... Gotta love these internet guys......

| alright jackass...first of all, I played in both leagues last summer so I have the ultimate say in the matter...
the musial league, despite a few exceptions to the rule, was bad baseball.....shitty pitching, poor defense, and a serious lack of talent league-wide....
majors has a deeper talent base and much better pitching...bottom line, you're a jackass for making that statement...
bring your shit teams into the majors and see how they fare on an everyday basis...

| Okay...now I was expecting a barrage of trash back at me since this is your site. Which I all enjoyed! You want me to look back at your past accomplishments?? That's part of the problem...I'm talking presently today. Stop living through the glory years like the '86 Mets...no one cares anymore. You obviously have a better past because you have been around longer. But wait, is that Met League accomplishments or North Jersey Majors accomplishments?
So now I ask this question because I am really interested. Did Stan Musial teams not join your league because they supposedly don't want the tougher schedule or they just don't want to join the bunch of jackasses in your league(that doesn't mean the whole league are jackasses so don't yell at me) you just have a select few!
The Stan Musial league coaches and players have a good relationship.
And if your league is such a great league why so many drop outs this year??? Maybe cuz the players are getting to old and want to stop living in the glory years like some of you still do! And yes I will stay anonymous because I feel I get better responses from people.

| Teams drop out because its the same top 4 teams in the final 4 every year and I guess the players and or coaches of the other teams get sick of it. Like the rest of the AL East with the Yanks and Red Sox 1-2 every year.
You act like 2003 was forever ago. We've gone 1 whole season in a row without making the World Series. We made it again in 2001 which, god I can't even remember, I think that was the year of the World trade center disaster, but I'm not sure, the years all blend together that was so long ago.
That is the gayest reason for not moving up"they have a good relationship". I ll tell you what we'll send the teams that move up roses everytime we kick their ass ok.
Lastly you have my number, dial it, set up the games with Hackensack.
If you don't then you're a big talker pussy...

| rick lutz, shut up already, who do you think you are? so what if you think your a great player and hackensack is the greatest team in the world. theres somebody better and bigger than you around, get your head out of your ass and you'll realize that, you lost games last year didnt you, why the hell are you running around guaranteeing shit when nothing has been proved. The Red Sox beat the Yankees, i'm sure Hackensack can lose as well tough guy and i'm sure you go 0-3 with 3 k's as well, so cut the damn act already, its foolish.
