Looking at this game it kinda I don't know confuses me on one point I want to think one helluva job by the players and on the other hand I wanna say what was Sibbitt thinking we are up 10 and you come out and play ring around the rosey around the perimeter?....I think one of the problems all year has been instead of thinking we are up by like 3 or 4 when we are in that type of situation we think that we have to score quickly....the way Eastern was playing hell you coulda probably easily had them over play and score i've posted before the previous games about keep running yu roffense until you get a good shot and play smart well when we didn't do it we shot ourselves in the foot one last thing we had the shot that coulkda one the ballgame when we got the ball off of a turnover with 45 seconds left instead of running the clock to almost zero before taking a shjot we shoot the ball with like 9 or 10 seconds left?.....don't get it.

Until next time

How did we lose? That answer is Joe Sibbitt. That man can't coach! This game was Paoli's, but he can not stand success. He substitutes too many people at once (4 at a time - duh!) and never really did have a set rotation all year. Plus, Hentrup could have used a break for a second or two! In my opinion, his choice of starters also was screwed up. I just don't get it and never will. Also, he supposedly told the boys to not shoot from the outside in the second half to take it inside. I don't know about anyone else but we could have used a few more 3's! After all, we had boys who could shoot 3's, but we will never know. I hope that rumor on the board is true, that if Sibbitt did not win the sectional he was gone. I guess I should say for the remaining players well being I hope it is true!

Now that i've thought about it for awhile and using this game as an example how in the hell could have Eastern handled the starting 5 of Hentrup, Hutslar, Andry, Weikert and Emerick...? I mean the way they played throughout the touney we woulda smoked every team but anyway back on the subject Joe has to know and run clock management if Kreigh takes that shot with 2 or 3 secomnds left and even if Zeb misses them we are talking O.T. I just think if we woulda ran the fist down their throats (as in fist motion) and kept them the slightest of off balanced we would've won up by 10 lose by 1.....hmmmmm anyone have thoughts of what Brown woulda done against Eastern Greene?

Sibbitt not only screwed this team, but becouse of the lack of playtime from this years juniors we get to start from scratch all over again.I was reading in the paper after the linton game that joe said he didn't have to do alot of coaching in this game, wow did we look different. in the eastern game he overcoached. in the second half he had a lineup that was clicking, then he went back to his starters, by the time he got that other lineup back in it wasn't the same. the subbing 4 at a time kills you, it's not fair to the players. this team should have won at least 17 games this year, won sectional, and been a co-favorite with forest park in the regional. well forest park is there, we are not. i kept waiting for the moment when joe would swallow his pride, and the four guard offense, and put emerick and weikert on the floor together, never happened, not one time in 25 games.i am not the only one to voice this oppinion, i have heard it from alot of other people also. One more thing that killed me was the lack of play time for pedigo, this could have been his night. he was playing defense, hitting his shots, and had his game face on.then he sits. i have seen this young man score 25-30 points before, not under sibbitt. this is the worst coaching job i have ever seen, along with tim richy at springs valley. i guess we will see if our new school board has any guts or not. joe should step down, if he won't he should be fired! next years team has some promise, but will joe try to make another ONE MAN TEAM, hentrup didn't have any help in the eastern greene game, not from a lack of talent, but from the 24 games before this one.
