Why did coach sibbitt not play these guys more this year? just looking at your stats(I'm a stat freak).Pedigo was 2nd on the team on 3 point fg % at 39.1%,shot 71.4% from the line,4th in scoring on the team. Weikert was 1st in 2 point fg% at 55.8%, 3rd in scoring, and 1st in rebounding. You would think a coach could find a few more minutes in a game for players that had a good year, but for some reason they got a lot of pine time.i was glad to see Hutslar playing more late in the year, he helped us greatly, but he should have been playing all year. well after reading your final stats i was just wondering.

Well the only theory I have came to on the Weikert part was that he didn't want 2 big men out there who get in foul trouble the Pedigo situation have no clue?.....but this is what gets me here we were into February and he switches Staggs to the startiung lineup?.....nuff said

If we had stats on minutes played, you would see that Pedigo only played 13 or 14 minutes on average a game and yet he was still able to post the numbers he had. What could have happened if he had played 20 mintues or more in a game? You are probably looking at a kid who could have scored 12-14 points a game. So how does that change what defenses could do against us? How many other options would we have had with a second scorer on the floor for 20-25 minutes a game? Yep - we probably would have won more games but somebody couldn't see that. Just like last night when Pedigo should have been out there and should have been shooting more especially since he had two 3's in the first quarter. I was close enough to the bench to hear Sibbitt tell the boys to not shoot the 3 point shots anymore but get the ball inside. Why? Does that make sense to anyone? Well, it was a great sectional despite the long drive and was nice to beat Mitchell! The Seniors and all the Rams should be proud!

bballfan, I have to disagree with you on one thing. I doubt that Pedigo averaged that many minutes. he didn't see the floor much after sibbitt fell in love with Staggs, and Patton. No slam to them, but he should have been playing, like you said, at least 20 minutes a game.
