| Because of complaints of unnamed teams in this league, this forum will be shutting down. I do not have the time to worry about someone posting about meeting for wings after a game.
I have created a new forum at the below address, please join if you still want to talk about this league.

Sorry for this, but I have been fighting this battle for over a year, and I would rather have a adult forum for the baseball league. Than one where I have to worry about what a few teams will say.

| Maybe the people in the league who are complaining about players in the league "BS'ING" should worry about more important things. Like getting someone to run the league with a clue as to how things should be run, getting teams to play some games before August, or how about setting league rules and letting people know them BEFORE the season starts! When was the last league meeting? Funny how the same people who piss and moan that they don't have time to update their roster or enter game results on the website, have time to cry that people are out of line and putting a bad face on our league. I thought they didn't have the time to look at the website.
Somehow I don't think that myself, lutz, saitta, Azz etc...etc... talking about hanging out after games and having a few beers together is the problem with the downfall of this league. Look yourself in the mirror and worry about more important things wrong with this league than who is posting about beer and a girl in a bikini on the site. Grow the "F" up. This is a MEN'S baseball league, not romper room.

This board is no different that Howard Stern's radio show...IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, DON'T COME TO THIS MESSAGE BOARD.

I agree you should not have to deal with the constant complaints. You have done a great job administrating this web-site. I would hope that if my posts about a post game meal have offended anyone, they would have the courtesy to tell me so. Although I can't imagine how or why it would offend anyone, however I guess I have a much lighter view of summer baseball and spending some quality time with friends.
I welcome any criticism from those whom I have offended. If you do not feel comfortable posting it on this site feel free to email me:

and the other people who read this message board. Rick's post even though it was true and quite funny was taken down because of the tone of message. The complaints have been going on for over a year, with myself mostly ignoring them. First about the content of the site itself, and then on to the message board.
It is not my decision to shut the forum down, I will tell you in private who is complaining if you want to know.
I do not feel like checking the message board every 30 minutes to see if there is a post that might offend someone. I have been told that they want nothing but game related info on the board. I felt it was easier just to create, a new message board,one that is not tied to the league. Where players and friends can BS and talk about whatever they wish.
Please come over to the new board, just bookmark it on your browser...create a topic, answer the poll question, say hello...

| As a veteran of this league and someone who cares about its survival I have a few opinions on the censorship of this message board. Our league has always been a good one with good guys. Some of these guys have very colorful personalities which results in some material that is inappropriate. I dont disagree with that. In fact there are plenty of times that I dont like the stuff I am reading. There is no way I would let my children read this crap (if I had any). However, this is not The Wiggles' website. Children dont belong on it. If you dont like what you are reading, log off. While I am not sure who is the complainer is, I have my suspicions. To you I say this. If you have a problem with the content of this site, sign your name and express your opinions. Be a part of the solution. Anonymous complaints do nothing to improve the league. I leave you with this. There will be nothing anonymous about kicking your ass in the playoffs and sending you home for a long off-season of nickelodean, ice capades and little house on the prairie reruns. happy hiding.

What if we all kick in and start our own baseball site. And let those that bitch have the responsibility of updating their boring shitty site. We can update and chat on OUR site that covers OUR league. Without the players there is no league. I can only think of 2 possible people who could be bitching. Call you later. | Wow, shut down, good thing you didnt have to check it when Hackensack and Ridgefield Park used to battle. People complaining because they are getting made fun of, suck it up...This is a mens league, Im embarassed to say I play for a league where I dont have the freedom to speak.
