Simanson grand slam leads Mudcats to victory.
The Angels were leading 3-0 in the bottom of the 6th, when Jason Simanson hit a grand slam to put the Mudcats in the lead 4-3, and a big 7-run 7th inning made a close game, look not so close. Angels starter Luis Gonzalez pitched a fantastic 5, but tired, and the Mudcats took advantage. For the Mudcats, Bobby Torres, Matt Allen and pool player (thanks) Eric Cain had a pair of hits each. On the hill, Torres picked the victory and struck out 6 in 3 innings. For the Angels, Hunt, Salazar and Barrena each had two hits.
