Reds hold off Indians, win 10-9

Joey Gennaro was lights out for 5 innings allowing only 2 hits while striking out 5 while the Reds got out to a 9-0 lead. The Indians came storming back in the 6th as 6 consecutive hitters reached base by hit or walk. They all scored. Jeff Wells picked up for the Reds and restored order allowing only an unearned run. Corey Pearson's bunt single and steal of second in the Reds 9th proved to be huge. He advanced to 3rd on a throwing error and scored on Gennaro's sac fly. The Reds needed the run as with two outs in the bottom of the 9th Brad Klink hit a two run homer for the Indians to make it 10-9 Reds. The Indians had the tying run at first as Pete Karl got the final out to pick up the save.
