45s Hold On To Win Opener
Scoring 7 in the bottom of the first, including a 3 run bomb from Tim "Woody" Woodward, the 45s seemed destined to open the season with a laugher. The Stallions clawed back, scoring a pair in the the 3rd, 5th and 7th. Reliever Joey Martino limited the damage and kept his team in the game. With the tying run at second in the final frame, the Stallions came up short, but a gutsy effort nonetheless. The 45's were fortunate to hang on for a victory. A great contest to open the season.
