Diablos Upend Stars to Open 2011 Campaign
It wasn't a drubbing - the Diablos failed to get an extra base hit. But, the 15 singles they did get were enough to generate all the runs they would need to pick up an Opening Day "W". Defense was stellar for Los Devils. Jason Perez started the game on the hill and pitched very well - he also banged out 3 hits. Matt Gallant, Dave Brown, Danny Trudell, Eddie Barbini and John Larson had 2 knocks each. Kenny Davis gets the "win", pitching well in the middle three innings; Dave Bean hurled the final three frames to earn a save.
