Matanzas Roll hard 8 in the 9th to Win!!!!
The battle for 2nd place was exactly that! As the Matanzas came out swinging to score 5 runs in the 1st to only have the Storm answer back with 5 of their own in the 2nd. the Storm added 2 runs in the 5th & 6th inning. Chasing 2 in the 9th The Matanzas were aided with some clutch hitting & by 2 Uncharacteristic Storm errors to Score 8 runs in the inning. Mario Chavarin pitched the final 3 2/3 scoreless inning to earn the Win. Junior Esparza went 2-3, Mario Aceves went 2-4, 2 run HR, Dion Deas went 2-4, 2B's for the Matanzas. Great game by a good group of guys on the Storm!
