Dave Valdez held the Storm to just 3 hits and 3 earned runs over 6 innings. Mike Maganza didn't allow a run en route to the 3 inning save.
Mike Taylor (3-5,3r,3rbi,sb,bb) and Steve Benson (2-3,2rbi,2b,r) pushed the Cubs offense. Pat Armstrong (2-3,2rbi) and KC Kasin (2r,bb) led the Storm's comeback attempt.
