45's Built For Wood

Robert Lewis went the distance on the hill, going eight strong innings, yielding only six hits (one double) and getting outs when he needed them. A huge difference between the first meeting when the Reds absolutely disemboweled 45s pitching and defense.
Herb Weaver continued to swing the big clutch bat hitting a triple in the first that drove in two. Every 45 contributed, either in the field or at the plate.
The Colts are born anew, like a phoenix, rising from Arizona.
