Photo finish as Martino goes the distance again
Creoles rally in the 8th, but it ends as the tying runner slows heading to the plate, and on a very close play gets pegged on a hard throw from left fielder Mario Herrera (4 for 4, 4 stolen bases and 3 runs scored, give him and Joey Martino the mvp). Aided by 2 line-out double plays (one in the bottom of the 9th) and the Stallions hang on as Joey runs the ball to 1st securing the final out. Ya, that's the kind of nail biting fun we crave!
