Despite walking 13 Cardinals (21 total for both teams - too tight zone?!), the Griffith Park Pirates defense managed to keep things close until the 7th: DJ Chomyk (2 hits, 2 RBIs) sent a solo shot over the fence, then the Pirates loaded the bases for Mylan Stepanovich (2 hits), who doubled into the left center gap to plate 3 ribs.
