Stars and Bandits Play To A Tie

The Bandits hitting woes continued as they struggled against an effective Dave Livergood who went all 9 for the Stars. The Bandits managed 12 hits but could never put together a rally as Livergood consistently got out of any trouble. Bandits pitching was equally effective with Jeff Wells going 5 innings and only allowing one run on three hits. Reliever Jeff Gould finished the game going 4 innings and with poor defense behind him, the Bandits allowed 3 runs to score in the 6th. aaron McPherson, Matt St John and Steve The Beast Cooper each had two hits for the Stars while Gould, Jack Charles, Jeff Wells and Anthony DiPietro had two hits apiece for the Bandits. No winner or loser....just a boring tie.
