Mamdani drives home 4 to lead Sidewinders to win.
Down 3-0 in the 6th, the Sidewinders got started. Jamil Mamdani laced a 2-run tying single in that inning, and then in the 7th, Bob Affrunti laced a double to CF, went to 3rd on WP and scored on a SF by pool player Mookie Williams (thanks to him). After two more 'winders got on, Mamdani laced a shot double to score 2 more and give the Sidewinders a 6-3 lead. Both teams added on, but the Sidewinders prevail. Mamdani finished the day with 4 rib-eyes, starter Rich Fallat struck out 10 in 5 innings, and relief pitcher Kaz Arakawa threw the last 4 innings, allowing only 1 run to pick up the victory.
