Wolferman leads Sidewinders to victory.
The Cardinals scored a run in the 1st on a long triple by Ryan Noward. Then they would not score until the 9th inning when they scored 4 runs. In the middle innings, the Sidewinders scored multiple runs in three innings. In the 4th, Casey Matthews drove home 2 runs with a double, Ethan Wolferman, Yeyo Uraga (pool), and Rich Fallat had RBI singles for a 5-run 4th. The next inning, Wolferman doubled in a run and Bob Affrunti singled in 2 more. In the 8th, Wolferman capped off his good day with another RBI single. Sidewinders starter, Mike Cahill throw a strong 5 inning only allowing 1 run. A good win in Beau Burgess's (Mr. Texas) last game in Cali...he will be missed.
