Quakes clip Squires

Hell of a game at Grant Saturday afternoon between the Quakes and Squires. The Quakes jumped out to an early lead only to be reeled in by the Squires late on. But the Quakes responded, pushing one last run across in the bottom of the 8th to secure the win. Defense and pitching were the order of the day, with Ryan Kerby (Quakes) and Sampson (Squires) both outstanding for their teams.
