Healey leads Sidewinders!
Chris Healey had 3 hits and drove in 3 runs for the Sidewinders, and Jamil Mamdani broke a 3-3 tie in the 9th with a clutch go-ahead line drive single. Kaz Arakawa threw 6 shutout innings, allowing only 3 hits, but the always tough Cardinals tied the game in the 8th. After the Sidewinders took a 5-3 lead in the top of the 9th, the Cardinals lead off batter (Gilford) singled. Sidewinders reliever Bobby Torres came in and induced a double play grounder and another ground out to preserve the win and earn the save.
