Angels are champs after a 4-run 9th inning comeback!
What. A. Game.
Going into the bottom of the 9th, the Blackjackets led 6-3. The Angels had been held in check by BJax starter Tim Keef all day, but the game stayed close.
But in that final frame, the Angels offense suddenly came alive. Andre Lim's walk off single with the bases loaded capped off the 4 run comeback, and the Angels dogpiled the hero between 1st and 2nd base to celebrate.
Stellar pitching (and a pretty good bat) from Blackjackets starter Tim Keef absolutely dominated the Angels for 8 innings. The BJax put the pressure on early, and never let up, scoring a run in 6 different innings.
Angels pitcher/outfielder CJ Johnson hit an opposite field HR in the 7th, and went 3-4 on the day.
Jon Vitti - who came on in relief in the 7th inning - got the Win, going 2 2/3, allowing an unearned run and 1 hit.
