Brewers Over Stallions on Opening Day, 14-4
The Valley Brewers took advantage of eight walks and a shaky Stallions defense to win their opener. Joe Pita and Andrew Pelter each had big two-run doubles and Eric "Pool Player" Cain contributed three hits. The Brewers were solid on defense and got strong pitching from Greg Bertrand, Pita and Mateo Valadez.
