Brian King leads Mudcats to victory.
For the winter league pennant, the Mudcats and Bandits squared off. Two old foes, both missing plenty of players due to the holidays, but a good game ensued. The hero of the day for the Mudcats was Brian King who doubled in 2 runs in the pivotal 4-run 8th inning, and then struck out his only batter faced with the bases loaded and 2 outs in the 9th to earn the save. For the Bandits, Mario Rodarte was tough on the bump (3 earned and a complete game), and Damin Hopkins had a 3-hit day.
