Squires Stay Alive!
On a muggy July day at Valley CC, the LA Squires put together a win against the relentless Dodgers to stay alive in the playoff hunt. The match was highlighted by Drake's dominant first half pitching, as well as great relief by Herbert and Anderson. At the dish, Casey, Herbert, Anderson, and Sampson were hitting the ball hard, and where Cubbies weren't. The Dodgers came on strong in the 9th, but it wasn't enough as Sampson nabbed a line drive at the Hot Corner to end it. Fewff! Great effort by both teams this day!
