Storm win ugly
The Storm survive an ugly defensive game to survive the hard charging Royals on a beautiful field many miles from home (and outside of LA county). Jon Scheuerman started his first game as a Storm pitcher and picked up the win, going 7 innings in front of at times good and bad Storm defense. Pat Armstrong got out of an error prone 8th giving up 1 run, then with the Storm clinging to a 2-run lead heading into the 9th, Scott Bailey came in to record the save. At the plate, Armstrong recorded the first Westlake homerun in LABL history (new field) with a solo shot in the 4th, while the amazing KC Kasin recorded 3 hits, including a 2-run homer in the 6th.
