Reds Get Their First Win Of The Season
In a game that was tight until the late innings, the Manhattan Beach Reds were able to pick up their first victory of the season by defeating the South Bay Bulls. Rick Bettencourt had 3 hits, and Jorge Martinez, Kris Wynne, Ozzie Medina, and Devaughn Wallace each had multi-hit games as well to pace a balanced offensive attack, with David Murray going a strong 7 and benefiting from the run support to pick up the win. Michael Vanderlofske, Derek Thielges, and Sean Begley each collected two hits for the Bulls.
