Colts Win
The Colts held a narrow 5-3 lead going into the fifth, with three of the 45s runs coming off of a dropped pop up and a balk. The Stallions offense came from catcher Rob Klien who ripped a two RBI double and then stole third and home.
After a host of hits, walks and Stallion errors, the 45s piled on seven runs in both the fifth and sixth and never looked back. Herb Weaver had a three hit day and Jeff Dotson makes up for a tough start with a big two RBI single and a ground rule double. Elliot Reinfeld gets off the snide with a couple hits and three runs scored.
Robert Lewis settled in on the bump after the first, to hold the Stallions scoreless in the next five innings, notching the W.
It wasn't all fist bumps and gaiety as the game came to an abrupt halt (with the Stallions not getting to finish their half of the eighth) when the "Gandhi of the week" high school employee ordered everyone off the field and then threatened to lock the gates if we didn't comply. Oh well, all was not lost as the 45s had a groupon for Six Flags and were able to catch funnyman, Sinbad's 2PM set.
