Stars Edge Angels in well played battle
Dale and Matt St. John combined to give the Stars the edge over the Angels, with Dale pitching another complete game and Matt hitting the game winning HR, while David Loyola got 3 of the Stars 7 hits. Jess Whitehill held the Stars to 1 run over 8 innings and the 9th included a controversial play which cost the Angels a potential tying run. Even after that, they left the bases loaded as the game ended.
