Angel Hitters Return from Vacation
The Angels hitters came alive after returning from a month long vacation (not many runs). A strong performance by Rick Gari, going all 9 innings, and at 1 point retiring 8 in a row, leads the way to victory. The Angels pull away from a close game in the 4th & 5th innings. Charles Blakey drives in 6 runs. Mike Fortunato (3-3) drives in 5. Dave Tipton (5-5) & Mark Wilkinson (PP, 3-3 ) each drive in 4 runs. Tim Hopkins and Mark Wilkinson go deep over the LF fence for HRs. Dave Tipton uses his legs for an ITP HR. Brant Dveirin & DT each score 4 runs. Gage Maverik (PP) scores 3 runs. For the Stallions, Mark Lubin goes all 9 innings. Jay Daniel gets 2 hits and reaches base in all 4 ABs. Mark Kaeller gets 3 hits and Mark Morgan gets 2 hits. All these Marks on one team is too confusing.
