Mudcats win pitching duel!
The Tiburones showed why they moved up to the National division with a brilliant pitching performance by Mike Soto (only allowing 1 earned run in 8 2/3). However, the Mudcats Dave White was just a tad better, as he only allowed 4 hits and struck out 12 to pick up the complete game victory.
The Tibs scored first on a 1st & 3rd double steal, and it looked like it may hold up. But in the 7th, Roberto Torres hit a seeing-eye single to tie the game. Then in the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs Mike Cahill doubled and was plated on a walk off single by Marcos Perez. A well played game by both teams.
