Big Hitting Carries Scarborough Past Bonny Eagle
An excellent effort by Brenna Kent hoisted Scarborough Red Storm Varsity to a 7-1 win in seven innings over Bonny Eagle on Friday at Bonny Eagle.
Kent hit two home runs for Scarborough Red Storm Varsity. Kent went 2-3 in the game with four RBIs and two runs scored. Kent homered in the second and third innings.
Scarborough Red Storm Varsity blew out Bonny Eagle thanks to eight hits, including four extra base hits.
Erin Giles racked up 12 strikeouts in the Scarborough Red Storm Varsity win. Giles allowed no earned runs, five hits and four walks over seven innings.
The game was never in doubt after the second, as Scarborough Red Storm Varsity scored two runs on an error and a solo home run by Kent.
