Alyssa Williamson powered Scarborough Red Storm Varsity at the plate and on the rubber Monday, willing Scarborough Red Storm Varsity to a 16-0 victory over McAuley.

Williamson put herself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for Scarborough Red Storm Varsity. She singled in the first inning, homered in the second inning, and doubled in the fourth inning.

Williamson kept contact to a minimum, striking out 12 McAuley batters. Scarborough Red Storm Varsity's pitcher gave up just three hits over five shutout innings.

Fourteen runs in the opening three innings allowed Scarborough Red Storm Varsity to easily put away McAuley. An error, an RBI single by Brenna Kent, a two-run double by Sophia Burnham, an RBI single by Maggie Murphy, and a two-run single by Marisa O'Toole in the first inning and a solo home run by Williamson, a fielder's choice, a three-run double by Mary Redmond, and an RBI single by O'Toole during the second inning fueled Scarborough Red Storm Varsity's offense early.
