Angels Come Back for the Win

On a cold and foggy morning in Santa Monica, 7 Angels regulars and a gritty collection of Angel alumni and pool players came from behind to beat the Stallions. Poor Angel defense helped the Stallions to a 4-0 lead after 3 1/2. The Angels tied it at 6 in the 6th, but more poor D helped the Stallions to a 2 run lead in the top of the 7th. Trailing by 2, the Angel bats finally came alive, scoring 6 runs to take the lead for good. Billy Johnson goes the distance, giving up 1 earned run. Steve Cooper had a huge day, going 3-4 with 2 doubles and 5 rbi. Lorenzo Ramos goes 2-4 with 2 rbi and Johnson goes 2-2 with 2 BB and an rbi, Angel Alum Sean Monahan is a perfect 3-3 with 3 runs and a walk and pool player Frank Navarro has 2 big hits.
