Stallions beat Snug Red Sox

The Stallions continued their winning ways, jumping out to an 8 run lead early, and stretching it to a 19 run lead after 7 and 1/2. Stallions starter Brian Greene for 7 innings totally stymied a Red Sox lineup short a couple of players by scattering just 4 hits through the first 6 innings. Carlos Ponce came off the DL to pitch the 8th and had a rocky inning after not pitching since June; Rick Nolette came in to close it down. Every Stallion starter had a multi-hit game with 4 hits a piece for Nolette and David Chambers. Mike Morgan contributed 3 hits and 6 RBI. This is the team that went 4-1-1 against the Eastern division, but ended up tied for last in the tough Western division. Hats off to everybody for a great building season.
