Bases loaded walk off suicide squeeze ends 0-0 pitchers duel

Mike Ivy of the Storm and Rod Arancibia of the Pirates battled to a 0-0 shutout into the bottom of the 9th before the Pirates walked off in exciting fashion. Ivy was dealing with a 4 hitter before Rich Brito led off the bottom of the 9th with a single, was moved to 2nd on a Sergio Rodriguez sac bunt and then to 3rd on a wild pitch. The Storm walked the next two hitters intentionally before Frank Gonzalez executed a perfect suicide squeeze with Brito scoring to end the game. The Storm threw out a Pirate runner at home with 2 outs in the 8th to end the inning on a controversial call to set up the 9th. Great pitching and defense by both teams.
