Titans take charge in the 4th
The momentum really started with the play that ended the 3rd, when CF Jordan Padams fired a shot on a rope towards the plate well ahaid of the surprised runner, for the second game in a row! Last game the catcher was just waiting at the plate with the ball, but this time the smoking throw was cut by pitcher Matthew Verzola standing on the mound. But Matthew turned quickly and seeing the speedy runner Carmen Rizzo on a tag up about to score the games first run, fired a fast ball to the plate that looked 100mph, just in time for the out! The Titans fired up then batted around in the 4th scoring 6, and gathering another 6 by games end with some clutch hitting up and down the line up. Titans starter Brian Johnson threw 2 scoreless striking out 2. Matthew also did a very nice job throwing the last 7 striking out 8.
