Stallions hold off Royals Stampede to win
After jumping out to a 9-3 lead, the Stallions held off a never-quit Royals offense that chipped away at the lead to pull within a run. After the disasterous 1st inning, where the Stallions knocked out starter Jimmy Bridges, Todd Levy held the Stallions to only 2 more runs and 6 hits throughout the rest of the ball game. Carlos Ponce and Brian Greene shared pitching chores for the Stallions, helping themselves with 3 runs scored. Greene also had a three hits on the day.
