Brewers Squeak By RockHounds, 5-4
A good battle between the Brewers and the RockHounds found the score tied, 4-4, after five innings. It remained tied until the bottom of the seventh inning, when the Brewers' Augie Alonso led off with a walk, stole second, and scored on two consecutive groundouts.
Brewers starter, Greg Bertrand, was solid for five innings and reliever, Scott Singleton, shutout the tough RockHound lineup over the final four frames, allowing the Brewers to break the tie.
Eric Cain, once again led the offense with two hits and three RBIs. Jesse Tejeda also had two hits for the Brew Crew.
Brad Urba led the RockHound offense with three hits, while Monsor Middleton contributed two hits.
