Brewers Shutout Bucs, 13-0
The Brewers' pitchers shutout the Bucs on three hits, while the defense made some big plays behind them. The Brewers tandem of Greg Bertrand and Scott Singleton were their usual splendid selves on the mound, while the defense executed five double plays.
The Brew Crew bats were sizzling, with Augie Alonso and Joe Pita each banging out three hits, while Matt Trites, Eric Cain, Jim Fier (double, triple, 3 RBIs) and Raul Verdecia contributed two-hits each.
