Luis Meza Leads Sharks to 3-2 Win Over Diablos
Luis Meza drove in the first 2 sharks runs with a double to right field and then scored the winning run, after tripling to left center, on John Daley's infield single. Meza also earned the win on the mound after relieving Zac Reeder in the bottom of the 6th. The Diablos almost tied the game in the bottom of the 9th when Mahler singled to right with two outs and runners on first and second, but George Rannie gunned down Mike Lifrak at the plate with a perfect one hop throw to Roberto Ascencion who applied the tag to end the game.
