Mario Pena goes 9 this time

The Cardinals drew first blood on this muggy Sunday afternoon. 2B Nando Rivas drove in the first run with a clean single. Cards SP Rick McGaughey kept the Titans off balance early on. But then, after attempting to bare-hand a grounder his control strayed, errors, and the Titans would come back with a couple of 4 run innings to pull away. Titans SP Mario Pena went the distance, earning his 7th win of the season. 3B Emilio Benavides led the offense with 3 hits.
