Angels Come Back From Two 4 Run Deficits to Win!
The Snugs thundered out of the gate, scoring 3 in the first and 1 in the fourth. The Halos tied it in the second with 4 of their own. Each team scored 1 in the third to keep it tied at 5 before the Snugs plated 1 more in the fourth and 3 in the fifth to take their second 4 run lead of the game. The Angels didn't wait around, scoring 7 in the fifth and another four in the sixth to take a commanding 16-10 lead. These Angel bats (unlike their MLB counterparts) came alive with 20 hits, led by Sergio Leal (3-3, double, triple 4 rbi), Charles Blakey (3-4, double, rbi), and 2 hits each for Wil Salazar, Andrew Pelter, David Loyola, Dwayne Collins and on his 62nd birthday (and wearing his age on his back) coach Whitehill was 2-3 and pitched a scoreless 7th for the "LABL save." Marshall Landry was "en fuego" going 4-4 for the Snugs with 2 doubles.
