Scarborough Comes Up Short Despite Alyssa Williamson's Gem
Scarborough's Alyssa Williamson pitched seven innings, but Scarborough provided little run support, allowing Thornton Academy to steal a 2-1 win Tuesday at St. Joseph College.
Tremblay recorded the win for Thornton Academy. She allowed one run over seven innings. She struck out none, walked one and surrendered four hits.
Alyssa took the loss for Scarborough.
Scarborough scored its only run of the game on an RBI single by Megan Murrell in the first inning.
Thornton Academy didn't relinquish the lead after scoring two runs in the second inning when it scored on a two-run single by Lee.
