Bruins "bearly" hold on for the victory

Dave Noll put on a dominant pitching performance, throwing 7 shutout innings while giving up a mere 4 hits, no walks, and only facing 24 hitters. Solid defense and a some scrappy runs were just enough to secure the Bruin win - although the "never say die" Stallions made it an exciting finish. Going into the top of the ninth down 4-0, the Stallions battled back, putting together a triple, back to back doubles, and another single to bring the go ahead run to the plate with the tying run on third. A really well played game all around. Four games into the season, it is safe to say the highly competitive Federal division is in for some great contests this summer.
