8 Strikeouts From Murrell, Win 5-0 Over Bonny Eagle
Abbie Murrell threw a shutout to lift the Scarborough Redstorm Varsity to a 5-0 win over Bonny Eagle HS at Bonny Eagle in seven innings.
Murrell had an impressive outing against Bonny Eagle HS' lineup. Bonny Eagle HS managed just one hit off of the the Scarborough Redstorm Varsity's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out eight during her seven innings of work.
Murrell kept Bonny Eagle HS hitless until the seventh inning when a a single by Lauren Turner broke up her no-hit bid.
