Scarborough Quiets Biddeford, Clinches #1 Seed

The Scarborough Redstorm Varsity jumped out to an early lead on Biddeford HS and captured a 9-1 victory on Saturday at Biddeford.

Eight runs in the first three innings allowed the Scarborough Redstorm Varsity to put the game away early.

A two-run double by Abbie Murrell, a two-run home run by Brittany Plowman, a two-run single by Chloe Gorey, and an error during the first inning fueled the Scarborough Redstorm Varsity's offense early.
The Scarborough Redstorm Varsity came out swinging, scoring seven runs in the first inning to jump ahead of Biddeford HS early.

Plowman racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Scarborough Redstorm Varsity.
