Orca Rally, Tie, Win In Extra
Looked like a close run to the finish until Pelicans' starter Garner went down with a split thumb to his pitching hand attempting to bunt. (Heal up!)
The Orca, who'd threatened repeatedly to that point, finally broke through with those valuable RISP-hits and evened-up. Elevated, rarefied competitive spirit from both parties elevated the later innings. Orca continued to push opportunities that paid off with a Hordo shot into the LC gap that hit the wall with two aboard, homer.
Orca pitching effective, a bit walkey, but then both sides rolled eyes at the strikezone. Orca win.
