Titans Come From Behind to Defeat Grays
The Runnin' Rebel Grays got off to a quick start in the first inning, with Nick Sabetta dropping a bloop single to left, then swiping second base. Sabetta then scored on an error at SS off the bat of Michael Kedor. The Grays tacked on another run in the second. Brian Krause singled, stole second and was driven in by Mike Giovannelli. The Titans scored an unearned run in the bottom of the 3rd inning to make it 2-1 Grays. The Grays would add another single run in the 4th inning, when Kedor singled, stole second AND third, and was driven in on a Sac Fly by Mike Bunch to make it 3-1. Giovannelli would drive in another run in the 5th inning to make it 4-1 Grays, with SP Troy Bregel sailing along up to that point. In the bottom of the 5th inning, RF Karl Morris jump started with offense with a booming triple to RF. a BB, 1B followed by an RBI single by AJ Gonzalez, a FC, a single by Butland another walk, then a 2 RBI single by Romi Guevara, a HBP, and another big 2 RBI single by Rey Martin Del Campo. When the dust had settled, the Titans scored 9 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning. From that point, RP Mario Pena held the Grays to 3 hits and no earned runs. WP: Pena LP: Bregel
