Grays Get Walk Off Win
This was a real battle between two teams that have been scuffling lately. With 5 total lead changes, these two teams duked it out at Occidental College. #thanksobama
Condors jumped out to an early lead by plating 4 in the 1st. After tying the game in the bottom of the 2nd, the Grays found themselves looking up at the score once again in the top of the 3rd. Three runs from the top of the Grays batting order put them on top for the first time in the bottom of the 5th. The Condors plated 2 in the top of the 6th, and shut down the Grays bats in the bottom half of the inning. Carter found his groove on the mound in the top of the 7th and kept the Condors runners off the plate. With time nearing expiration, the Grays batted in the bottom of the 7th. Costell drew a walk, and pinch runner Sommer stole 2nd and went to third on a throwing error. Sabetta reached on an E3, and Sommer scored, tying the game. Krause then shot a single, getting runners on 1st and 2nd. With the game tied, Condors Ace Jon Curl dug in and struck out the Grays leading hitter, Kedor. Redmond worked the count to 2/2 and then played hero by shooting a single to the gap, plating Sabetta and securing the walk-off win.
