Aceves Has BIG Day!
Mario Aceves led a potent Stallion offense, putting up the first run leading off the 2nd with a towering homer over the left field screen, followed by a ground rule double blast to right, another double and a single. He scored all 5 times at bat, the 5th at bat being an intentional walk, and drove in 3 runs. Rob Mojarro had a dazzling day as well, going 4-4 with an intentional pass and pitching a complete game gem. David Chambers, Jr Esparza and Joey Martino also had multi-hit games. Only a trio of Stallion errors in both the 3rd and 8th innings enabled the Titans to score. In the Titan's first year of reformation, last year's champs are still trying to put it together, but they never stopped coming. This league just keeps getting better.
